As a multi-vendor eCommerce marketplace, refunds are processed based on individual seller policies, product conditions, and the reason for the refund request. This policy outlines eligibility, processing times, and refund methods.


1. Eligibility for Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • The item received is damaged, defective, or not as described by the seller.

  • The wrong item was delivered.

  • The item never arrived and the seller is unable to provide proof of delivery.

  • A return request has been approved, and the returned item has been received in acceptable condition.

  • The seller fails to ship the order within the stated processing time.

Refunds may not be issued if:

  • The return request is made after the allowed return window has expired.

  • The product has been used, altered, or damaged by the buyer.

  • The item was purchased under final sale or clearance where refunds are not accepted.

  • The order was delivered correctly but the buyer changed their mind (unless allowed by the seller’s policy).

Important: Always review the seller’s refund policy on the product page before purchasing.


2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Log in to your Abibiman Mall account.

  2. Navigate to My Orders and select the order you wish to refund.

  3. Click Request Refund and provide a reason.

  4. Attach clear photos or videos showing the issue (if applicable).

  5. Submit your request and wait for the seller’s response.

If the seller does not respond within three business days, contact Abibiman Mall Support for further assistance.


3. Refund Processing Time

Refunds are processed after the seller has:

  • Approved the return and received the returned item (if required).

  • Verified the issue and confirmed eligibility.

  • Provided refund approval to Abibiman Mall (if applicable).

Estimated Refund Processing Time:

  • Credit/Debit Card Payments – 5 to 10 business days.

  • Mobile Money Payments – 1 to 3 business days.

  • Bank Transfers – 5 to 10 business days.

  • Store Credit (if applicable) – Immediate refund after approval.

Refund times may vary based on the payment provider or bank processing times.


4. Refund Methods

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. If the original payment method is no longer valid, buyers may opt for:

  • Store credit (usable for future purchases).

  • Bank transfer (if applicable).

Important: Refunds cannot be issued to a different payment method than the one used for the original purchase.


5. Partial Refunds

In certain cases, a partial refund may be issued if:

  • The returned item is missing parts, accessories, or original packaging.

  • The product is returned after the allowed return period, but the seller agrees to a partial refund.

  • The refund is for shipping fees only (if applicable).

The final refund amount will be determined based on the condition of the returned item and the seller’s policy.


6. Non-Refundable Items

Some products are not eligible for refunds, including:

  • Personal care products (cosmetics, skincare, hygiene products).

  • Food and perishable goods.

  • Customized or personalized items.

  • Digital products (eBooks, software, gift cards).

  • Items purchased under final sale or clearance discounts.

Check the product page for specific refund eligibility before making a purchase.


7. Refunds for Canceled Orders

  • If an order is canceled before it ships, a full refund will be issued.

  • If the seller has already shipped the order, the refund will be processed only after the item is returned.

  • Shipping fees for canceled orders may not be refunded if the order has already been processed.


8. Disputes & Seller Non-Responsiveness

If a seller does not process a refund request within three business days, buyers can escalate the issue to Abibiman Mall Support by:

  1. Going to My Orders and selecting the order.

  2. Clicking Escalate to Abibiman Mall Support.

  3. Providing all relevant details, including order number, reason for the dispute, and supporting evidence.

Abibiman Mall will review the case and may issue a resolution, including a refund if the claim is valid.


9. Changes to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy as needed.

  • Any major updates will be communicated via email or platform notifications.

  • Buyers and sellers are responsible for reviewing the updated policy before making purchases.
